History and values

Ulti was created 25 years ago by Frank Bacot. A fruit lover his whole life, he first began working in his kitchen. Frank developed his own special know-how, with the goal of juicing the best possible oranges all year long, depending on the season. Today, Ulti is a small SME of 30 employees that has maintained its founder's personal and family values. Every day, the company continues to produce premium fruit juices with traditional or original tastes to cater to customer demands.

Ulti has been the pioneer of high-pressure processing since 1991. This unique and innovative technique allows for the preservation of vitamins and of the authentic flavor of the fruit. Throughout the year, Ulti selects the best fruit from all over the world according to the season (South Africa, Spain, Argentina, etc.). In full compliance with the cold chain, all citrus fruit is stored at 2°C (36°F) to ensure outstanding quality. The fruit is sorted, washed, and scrubbed to remove impurities. The juice is then extracted from the inside of the fruit. Gradually, the juice is separated from the fruit's pulp. The juice is therefore perfectly-balanced, natural-tasting, and ready to bottle. The bottles are processed with a water pressure equivalent to that of the Mariana Trench. This method provides for stabilized juice with a shelf life of 20 days, and preserves the juice's taste and nutritional qualities.
