The slaughterhouse is located in the same place within the commune processes and markets pigeons as a priority.

Acquisition of the company in 1978 is done by the granddaughter Jacqueline BOSONI and her husband Jean VERNE: creation of the company AU CHAPON BRESSAN.

The company then chose to specialize in Bresse AOC poultry (chickens, poulard, capons and turkeys) and turned to a clientele of restaurateurs, as well as to exports (Europe and Japan). Le Chapon Bressan won the Ain export prize in 1985 and its products were selected for the Bocuse d’Or 2007.
